Agreement to Terms
Echo Health provides technology that enables healthcare organizations to improve communication, care coordination, and patient engagement. Healthcare providers remain responsible for all clinical decisions and patient care.
By accessing or using Echo Health (“Echo”, “we”, “us”) services, including our website at my-echo.io, mobile applications, care coordination platform, and SMS messaging services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
Description of Services
Echo Health provides:
- Care plan management and coordination tools for healthcare providers
- Patient engagement through SMS check-in messages
- Post-discharge follow-through support and patient engagement
- Coordinator dashboards for operational visibility
- Self-care wellness tools including journaling and mood tracking
Echo does not provide medical advice, clinical diagnoses, or emergency services. Echo does not make clinical decisions, predict outcomes, or automate any action without a human decision. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
SMS Messaging Terms
Echo Health may send SMS text messages to patients enrolled in a care plan by their healthcare provider. By consenting to receive messages during the enrollment process, you agree to the following:
Messages are care plan check-ins related to your discharge plan (e.g., medication reminders, appointment follow-ups, wellness checks). Messages are not marketing or promotional.
Message frequency varies based on your care plan and your provider's instructions. The number and timing of messages depend on the care plan tasks assigned by your provider. Your active care plan period is typically 30 days.
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive one confirmation message and no further messages. Opting out of SMS does not affect your care plan or your relationship with your healthcare provider.
For help with SMS messages, reply HELP to any message or contact us at [email protected].
Message and data rates may apply. Echo Health does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may apply standard messaging fees. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.

Healthcare Disclaimer
Echo Health is a technology platform that supports care coordination and patient engagement. It is not a healthcare provider, does not practice medicine, and does not provide medical advice. Clinical decisions are made by your healthcare provider, not by Echo.
Unless explicitly stated as part of a healthcare provider's clinical program, Echo's SMS check-ins are intended to support care coordination and patient engagement rather than provide medical advice or replace clinical judgment. Always consult your healthcare provider for medical questions or concerns.

Our platform is designed with HIPAA-aligned security controls including encryption, access controls, audit logging, and tenant isolation. Business Associate Agreements are available upon request.
