Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your Echo Health account and associated personal data, use one of the options below.

How to Request Deletion

In-App Request

Open the Echo Health mobile app and navigate to:

Settings → Account → Delete Account

Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your request.

Email Request

Send an email from the address associated with your account to:

Use subject line: “Account Deletion Request”

What Gets Deleted

When your deletion request is processed, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your account profile (name, email, authentication credentials)
  • Self-care content (journal entries, mood logs, personal notes)
  • Preferences and app settings
  • Consent records and history
  • Wearable device connections and sync data

What May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained for limited purposes as required by law or for legitimate business needs:

  • Security and audit logs: retained for fraud prevention and security investigations
  • Legal and regulatory records: where retention is required by applicable law
  • Anonymized or aggregated data: which cannot identify you personally

If you are connected to a healthcare organization through Patient-Care Mode, some clinical records may be maintained by that organization under their own retention policies. Contact your healthcare provider directly regarding those records.

Processing Timeline

Within 30 days
Deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days of receipt.

You will receive a confirmation email once your account deletion has been completed. If you don't receive confirmation within 30 days, please contact us.
